Casino News: New online casino opens in Isle of Man

Great news for the Isle of Man -- a brand-new online casino, complete with mobile gaming platform has just been launched.

The company is called TradaGames (Isle of Man Limited), and it is trading as TradaCasino. The Isle of Man government’s Gambling Supervision Commission has granted a licence, and trading has begun. To be granted a licence, TradaCasino had to meet the stringent online gaming standards for the island, and also overall licensing requirements.

Tony Stewart-Lord, Director of TradaCasino, said ‘This is an exciting time for us with our plans to launch a ‘No Download, Gaming on the Move’ model into a number of different countries. The licence from the Isle of Man allows us the opportunity to break into these markets, some which have an established E-Gaming customer base, and other new territories that offer great potential for online and mobile casino player development.”

Garth Kimber, who is Head of e-Gaming Development for the Government’s Department of Economic Development went on to say, “TradaGames is an innovative company which undoubtedly has an exciting future in a number of countries. Their launch comes towards the end of another highly successful year for the E-Gaming industry on the Isle of Man, testimony to the robust framework we have in place to help new businesses thrive. ”

The Isle of Man Government’s Department of Economic Development Minister, John Shimmin MHK, also said “It is testament to the safe and secure environment the Isle of Man provides for new operators that we can attract high quality new operators to use us as their major base.”
