Magic Red Casino Review
Magic Red Casino Review
Magic Red Casino is part of Aspire Global, but have historical ties to the Winner Group, which has led to some distrust as there has been concerns in the past with the terms and conditions set out at sites, and in dealing with customer complaints.
Aspire Global don’t have any suggestion of such practices, so it is probable that Magic Red is entirely trustworthy at this point, but it’s always worth being aware of the history that exists before choosing whether to play at an online casino.
If you do decide to give Magic Red a try, you will be met with what is arguably one of the least exciting online casinos you’ll ever see. That isn’t the worst thing in the world, many players like simple, and simple is definitely what you get here.
The subtle approach can be effective, it certainly has been for some sites, as it offers a games-focused feel that will be likely to tempt those who take their gaming very seriously, while not putting off the hobby players either.
An unexciting design concept, however, necessitates exciting content in order to provide the balance that is needed to make the site enticing for players, is this something that Magic Red Casino are capable of?
Design and theme
Boring would be a strong word to describe the design here, it’s unexciting, uninspiring maybe, but it isn’t boring. There’s a nice enough red and white colour scheme at the centre of the design, and a banner across the top of the homepage that scrolls through promotions and various images from popular games, while three glamorous models stand near a roulette table in a secondary, smaller image, wearing gold dress and looking fabulous (one would assume that fabulous is the intention, although they mainly just look a bit awkward).
The games come first here though, that is clear, and the use of large thumbnails on the homepage which allow access to popular games, is aided by a plain, white background which, firstly, makes the games the focus, and secondly, ensures that the design isn’t too busy in combination with the artwork from the game thumbnails themselves.
The ease of navigation offered by these thumbnails continues through the rest of the site, which has a simple and easy to understand layout with all sections clearly marked and easily accessible.
Magic Red aren’t pushing boundaries here (and the logo is dreadful) but for the most part, this is an attractive enough site, and one that does a good job of showing off the games it has on offer.
Those games come from a good list of software developers, one that includes Blueprint Gaming, ELK Studios, Evolution, Microgaming, NetEnt, NextGen Gaming, NeoGames, NYX Gaming, Play'n GO, Stars Group, and Thunderkick.
Magic Red have been building their portfolio of games and software developers sine their launch in 2013, and one would expect (and to a point, hope) that there will be more to come, but there’s certainly enough to be getting on with for now!
Slots are available in abundance, new slots like the trippy Pink Elephants and the playful Reactoonz stand alongside old favourites including Starburst and Immortal Romance.
You’ll also find a more than adequate selection of table and card games, including several live dealer titles, as well as a few scratchcards thrown in to satiate the appetite of the instant win fan.
Magic Red is an excellent site in terms of content, and has a very no nonsense feel to it, which is a nice change from the over the top themes and concepts of most.
