Big Win Vegas review

Big Win Vegas Review

At the last count, the number of online bingo and casino sites on the Jumpman network numbered almost 100, and with Big Win Vegas adding its name to the list in early 2018, it’s clear that this is not something that will be slowing down any time soon.

This does raise a few questions, however. Firstly, does any network really need this many different brands under its belt? And secondly, how good would Jumpman sites be if they’d put all that work and attention into a few features sites instead of spreading themselves so thin?

Once the numbers of online casino sites on a network gets up to these dizzying heights, it becomes impossible for an operator to do anything different, essentially, Jumpman has backed themselves into a corner of mediocrity, and that is the corner Big Win Vegas is fighting out of.

That leaves Big Win Vegas with a lot to do if it is going to impress prospective players, and this is not aided by the fact that the site has a name that looks like it was created by a low-level text bot that had been fed nothing but casino buzzwords.

We’ve seen online casinos with dreadful names succeed in the past though, so we know it’s possible, but with so much working against it, is Big Win Vegas capable of getting its nose out in front of its competitors?

Design and theme

Any site with the word ‘Vegas’ in its name instantly creates a list of expectations. One doesn’t expect the site to be particularly creative (because otherwise a less derivative name would’ve been selected) and one expects a black and gold colour scheme.

Out of the two, it is the latter that Big Win Vegas bucks the trend on, which is nice, but not really enough to make a difference, especially when you take in the dismal design that has been put in its place.

Neon text, background images that are more likely to induce headaches than they are impress anybody, there’s a lot to dislike here.

On top of that, there is the tool that really should have stopped by now, which means that Big Win Vegas calls after you and implores you to come back if you go to a different tab on your browser.

With the importance of taking breaks, and the focus the industry has on protecting vulnerable gamblers, it is a disgrace that Big Win Vegas and other Jumpman sites still use this tool, as innocent as their intentions may be.

Games

Jumpman has been creating sites for a long time, and unlike the design, which still looks like a first time effort made by a young child, possibly one designing the site while also being on a trampoline, the games feel more like experience has been put into them.

With titles coming from the likes of 1X2 Network, Core Gaming, ELK Studios, Eyecon, Gamevy, Genii, IWG, iSoftBet, Microgaming, NetEnt, NextGen Gaming, PariPlay, Playson, SG Digital, and Yggdrasil, there’s a fair bit on offer here, not enough, but a decent amount.

By not enough, we don’t mean that Big Win Vegas is incapable of competing, by portfolio of games alone, this site could be genuinely tempting to players, with slots, table and card games, and more available in abundance, but it’s not enough to make up for the many, many shortcomings that this site, and Jumpman Gaming as a whole, has.

Another disappointing effort from an operator which appears to refuse to evolve in any way, Big Win Vegas is an awful online casino and one that is not worth your time.
